To submit a catch to be considered for “Catch of the Quarter”, you should write the catch scenario in a narrative format and in a Word document, (Not a PDF) and submit the catch to the Region 19 Awards Committee, listed above.   You should have the catches sent to the awards committee by the 14th  of month following the quarter.  This gives the awards committee time to determine the catch winners and submit them to the National Awards Committee Chairman.  Each quarter, the Region 19 Awards Committee will determine the winner of a “Detector Dog Catch” and  “Patrol Dog Catch”.  Region 19 provides a plaque every quarter to the winners in these categories.  The winners of these categories (Each Quarter) will be sent to the National Awards Committee for consideration in the National Case of the Quarter Award.

1st Quarter (January – March) Send your catch before April 14 to be considered

2nd Quarter (April – June) Send your catch before July 14 to be considered

3rd Quarter (July – September) Send your catch before October 14 to be considered

4th Quarter (October – December) Send your catch before January 14 to be considered
